Elizabeth Edwards is now in the lunatic, moonbat category. Both her and her husband are so full of themselves, it's a wonder they can be in the same room with each other.
They are the type of people that have absolutely no clue about how most Americans live and die. They speak of "two Americas", but I'm here to tell ya, they are firmly ensconced in the upper tier. If you think for one minute these snobs care one whit for the working stiff and the poor, you need to rethink. Bill and Hillary Clinton didn't care, but at least Bill had the capacity to make you THINK he cared. Mr. and Mrs. Breck Girl don't even come close to that ability.

RALEIGH --Elizabeth Edwards says she is scared of the "rabid, rabid Republican" who owns property across the street from her Orange County home -- and she doesn't want her kids going near the gun-toting neighbor.
Edwards, the wife of Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, particularly recalls the time neighbor Monty Johnson brought out a gun while chasing workers investigating a right of way near his property. The Edwards family has yet to meet Johnson in person.
"I wouldn't be nice to him, anyway," Edwards said in an interview. "I don't want my kids anywhere near some guy who, when he doesn't like somebody, the first thing he does is pull a gun out. It scares the business out of me."
Mrs. Edwards, you are so full of "business", I doubt anything could scare you that much. Second of all, just because a guy has a gun does not make him an evil or violent man. Just because he protects his property, does not mean he is going to come over to your house and slaughter your pet bunnies. If the man pulled a gun on everyone he disliked, I'm certain he would either be in jail, or spent time in jail and his guns would have been taken away from him.
What does he have to say about his uppity neighbors?
But Johnson defended the occasion he brandished a gun, saying those on his land didn't have the proper approval.
"I use the gun for protection, and I considered that an appropriate time," Johnson said. "Sometimes you have to take drastic measures."
Edwards views Johnson as a "rabid, rabid Republican" who refuses to clean up his "slummy" property just to spite her family, whose lavish 28,000-square-foot estate is nearby on 102 wooded acres.
Johnson, 55, acknowledges his Republican roots. But he takes offense to the suggestion he has purposefully left his property, including an old garage he leases for use as a car shop, in dilapidated condition.
Johnson said he has lived his entire life on the property, which he said his family purchased before the Great Depression. He said he's spent a lot of money to try and fix up the 42-acre tract.
"I have to budget. I have to live within my means," Johnson said. "I don't have millions of dollars to fix the place."
I can understand that his property is probably a bit "slummy". He's a country boy and he's lived there all his life. It probably is a mite run down. On the other hand, you'd think that the Edwards, being the compassionate folks they are, would extend a hand and ask if they could help him get the place tidied up., not necessarily with money, but a weekend of labor and a pickup load or two might go along way. It's what neighbors do.
Mr. Johnson has his property up for sale. It seems that property taxes are now way too high for him to stay there. I wonder if that is because of the Edwards' Manse?
Yeah Johnson sounds like the kind of guy Mrs. Edwards needs to be afraid of. Lady, ya got a lot of gall and a lot to learn.
For a man who wants to be President, The Breck Girl and his wife have a lot to learn about that other America.
Rabid, rabid republicans indeed!
Twits.
