No seriously for a second, thanks to the Violence Worker and his gang.  Like I mentioned on the Pigeon, my contributions will likely be appearing somewhat randomly, but I hope to contribute to the discussion in any way I can. 

 RUN COWARD, RUN!  You can't get rid of me that easily! ;) 

Spam With Your Quechup?

Like many of you, I've received my share of invitations to join Quechup.  Quechup (a cutesy way of saying  catch up without annoying the condiment industry, I suppose) is apparently another in a long line of so-called social networking sites. 

I have nothing against most of these sights.  I'm on My Space and on Face Book as "Vee Worker". Face Book didn't consider Violence to be a proper first name when I registered so I had to modify it a bit.

Quechup is different.  The sight asks you to let it scan for possible friends from your gmail or outlook contact list like the others.  The difference is, Quechup, without your permission, email's an invitation to every one in your address book -- and they don't ask or tell you.

If you registered with Quechup, unregister.  Whatever you do, don't give them access to your address book!

Perhaps it has something to do with the unexpected popularity last year of the movie ``Napoleon Dynamite,'' about a quirky, dancing teen and his sleepy Idaho town.
