It Isn't About Global Warming

In Copenhagen, Denmark, there is this beautiful amusement park called Tivoli.  It's one of the oldest amusement parks still in operation and it's founder got the land from the monarchy by convincing the king that his park would take the people's mind off of politics.  I've been there and it is indeed a beautiful park.  If you ever find yourself there, you must see it and especially see it at night.  Unfortunately, for the attendees at the climate conference in Copenhagen, there aren't enough Tivolis to distract us from the politics of climate.

As you probably are aware, just before this international bizarre bazaar got cranked up, there was the problem of the released emails from Britain's University of East Anglia  (consensus now seems to be a whistleblower) that showed that data was massaged and manipulated.  There were also some that seemed to advocate retaliation for those scientists who didn't follow the party line.  The MSM has successfully tried to downplay the story and its potential impact on this conference.  But these people in Copenhagen couldn't care less about East Anglia and it's doubtful most of those there ever even heard of the place.  It is not about affecting any kind of change except money from your wallet to their coffers.  

You need to understand that Anthropogenic Global Warming or AGW is not the issue, it's the cover, the ruse, the smoke in your eyes.  No one attending that conference believes climate will change one iota because of any agreement signed even if every signatory country followed its provisions to the letter.  There's a common theme that is being sounded in Copenhagen and it isn't weather.

From the Socialist thug, Hugo Chavez of Venezuela:

Mr Chavez, paraphrasing Karl Marx, said "a ghost is stalking the streets of Copenhagen... it's capitalism, capitalism is that ghost."

"The destructive model of capitalism is the eradication of life," he said.

From the thug Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe:

"When these capitalist gods of carbon burp and belch their dangerous emissions, it's we, the lesser mortals of the developing sphere who gasp and sink and eventually die."

And from the Marxist President of Bolivia, Evo Morales:

"It's an issue of way of life and a result of the capitalist system and if we don't understand that then we're never going to resolve these problems."

Are you tracking?  Do you see the common thread?  Do you really think these people really give a damn about the environment?  Do you really think these people give a damn about their people?  Do you think Mugabe vigorously enforces environmental law.  Do you think Chavez does?  You are an idiot if you answered yes to any of the above questions.

It's not about climate change and it never was.  Climate change is the excuse, socialism is the reason.

I am reminded of the scene in the movie Independence Day when the recently defeated alien pilot who was to be autopsied (prematurely) in the "Freak Show" operating theatre had kicked the ass of all those in the room watched by the President and many others. Poor Brent Spiner's character, neck encircled by an alien tentacle had his face pressed to the glass in order to present the demand, "Release me!" The President pleaded with the alien who worked the Spiner played character like a sock puppet, "What is it you want us to do?" The alien, through Spiner, replied, "Die." Thats the socialist agenda: If you are weak and defenseless, you can die (aged, unborn, unpopular, chaste). If you are not part of the nomenclatura aka "in crowd" you can live in a mud hut and wear a grass skirt, walk or bicycle everywhere and wait until we decide that you can have any medical help, then perhaps die. We'll stack the mud huts ten stories high so there is a smaller "footprint."

If you are looking for the largest scale mass murders in history look to the socialist labels: Lenin, Stalin, oh yeah Hitler was a socialist, Mao Zedong (doesn't that sound so much nicer). Good old socialists who what to make everything equal. The fruit of the socialists is equal crushing poverty, equal despair, equal betrayal of the public trust.

The new wrinkle is not so new, now they want you to pay a carbon offset for living a modern mobile society. The idea probably came from the National Socialists who forced those deported to Auschwitz to pay $.06 per mile to be forced into cattle cars to pay for their own journey and had in place the legal machinery to collect.

I heard on the news this morning that Chavez got more applause and ovations than any other world leader at the conference. And, what was the theme of Chavez's message? Anti-American. Sad thing is we now have a President who covets the favor of these same world leaders and bows before them.

AGW is hogwash; the Religious Left believe there is only ONE source of GW: that nasty human being. More specifically: WHITE human beings.

Copenhagen, conferences, AGW -- it isn't about what's obvious, it's about fleecing Western Nations, bleeding them dry, minimizing their power. And all the good little GOWPs will help along, nose-to-tail, as the sheep in front walk over the precipice.

BZ's comment on the Religious Left is very much on point as well. Their form of sanctifying grace is money. A "pro-choicer" in the past has termed their sacrament as abortion. They presume to control, initiate and alter life into royalty producing commodities through cloning when no sane enterprenuer will touch the field with a ten foot pole much less with money. Who did the wierdos turn to? To the voters! Fellow Californians: the state funded stem cell boss just had a raise in pay even though NOTHING has been produced from the millions, or was it billions, voters authorized for the technology shunned by people who know a good deal when they see it.

These are the same people who tried to sell you a gay gene when the Human Genome Project failed to locate one and who tried to sell you a heterosexual AIDS epidemic when none (once again) has materialized.

And back to VW's point: China, India and Africa want to prosper on (yes, thats right) proven, abundant fossil fuel just like the Christian, industrial West did.

Lets call the Left the Wrong. There is Right and Wrong. The Wrong don't know when life begins, how people are motivated, how the planet really works. The Wrong do know how to tempt, to distort, to decieve, to lie. Sound like anyone you have heard about? Before the Final Jeopardy theme runs out check the dedication to Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals or Karl Marx's stated goal for socialism.
