I want to be positive, I really do. It's against my nature to be morose and depressed, but I'm telling ya, it ain't easy these days watching the Obama administration systematically rape the American economy.
I'm wondering if Obama isn't starting to overplay his hand. I'm sure by now that you've all seen the Rick Santelli video. If you haven't, then go here and scroll down and follow the link. In the video, Santelli suggests we should have a new tea party and it struck a chord with a lot of people.
One of Ronald Reagan's best qualities was his enduring optimism and belief in the American people. It's easy enough to feel like we are falling into an abyss we may never recover from, but maybe we are stepping back from the edge just a little. Maybe there is a hint of hesitation as we peer over the edge and look into the blackness below.
Maybe there is reason to be hopeful.
