You really can't make this stuff up.
Three wannabe Senators, all from different states, but they are all Democrats.
One is seeking to appointed to take Hillary's place. She literally has no resume, but she is JFK's daughter. She refuses to disclose her income and she got special permission to keep her income secret when she took a position with the NYC school district. Even though her underlings were required to disclose their income, she was exempted. She refuses to answer most questions and peppers her speech with more "You knows" then a teeny-bopper. Her only asset is her name.
The second was appointed by a discredited governor from a state renown for its corruption. Although Roland Burris has some political experience, his appointment is tainted by the corruption that swirls around the governor. He also allowed the wrong man to go to prison and knew it was the wrong guy.
The third is Al Franken. He's a two-bit commedian and the kind of guy you would shoot if he was dating your sister. While he lost the election by only a handful of votes, his surrogates managed to find enough votes during the recount to allow him to win. In some districts, more votes than registered voters were counted. They do that in places like Zimbabwe.
I shake my head in wonder. This is the level of American politics.

A corrupt chicago scumbag, a princess(or as close as we have) and a clown. What's next?
Methinks Winkin' Blinkin' and Nod may have had more on the ball.

Democrats are full of scandals and corruptions. I hope they all come out in the next four years.

I'm all for exiling lawfully convicted politicians. Strait up 30 days to leave the country or goto prison for the rest of your life. Siezure of assests shred their passport, the whole 9 yards.
Selling political power, altering vote counts and the like are strait up treason in my book. They're scum.

Blagojevich hasn't done anything any other Democrat governor hasn't done. You know the Kennedy's are promising the governor of NY something for appointing Carolyne, whose only asset is her maiden name. The problem Blagojevich ran into is that he got caught and in doing so, embarrassed Obama. The US Attorney actually stopped the investigation to prevent any more embarrassment to Obama and even to possibly prevent any involvement by Obama or his staff. If Blagojevich didn't have a link to Obama, this whole incident would be blown off and he would probably be given some high post in the government.
