THE HAGUE, Netherlands — The U.N.'s highest court ordered U.S. authorities on Wednesday to do everything possible to halt the executions of five Mexicans in Texas until their cases are reviewed.
An open letter to Mexico and the World Court:
Hola and Howdy! Just a quick note to tell you to both butt out! We figured out we couldn't get a fair hearing from the World Court a long time ago. Aside from the fact that you folks hate us and will decide against us every time, we have veto power! As permanent members of the Security Council, we can veto your decision anyway.
Our Supreme Court (The one in our Constitution) says what you say about our laws and our justice system are irrelevant. This is not an international dispute. Some subhuman monsters came up here from Mexico and on our turf, committed horrific rapes and murders.
I realize that most nations in the world operate from the top down and in truth, many here in America would like us to be that way. Our system is designed to work the other way. It's called we the people and those folks up there in DC are supposed to work for us, not you.
In other words, If you tell our President to do something, it don't mean squat. We can ignore him. He doesn't have the authority to demand anything from a state court and if he does, that state court just might tell him to go pound a little sand up his wazoo. Which is what happened in 2004:
The World Court has no enforcement powers but President Bush issued a directive to the Texas courts to abide by the 2004 ruling. The state courts refused to review the cases and the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 6-3 in March that the president cannot compel the state courts to comply.
It's settled law. The SCOTUS has spoken and that's the law of our land.
So go pound a little sand up your own Wazoo and let us take care of the trash shipped up here from Mexico.
Oh and to our neighbors to the south, if you quit crappin in our yard, we won't need to bury those steaming piles.
Warmest Regards,
VW

Great letter VW! I am sick of them butting into our business. Oh but let us try to do that to them then they are real quick to tell us to go to HELL! They are all such hypocrites! Good going VW!

Just wanted you to know that I appreciate your comments at Right Truth on Ham Radio. I've been gone since early this morning when I posted that.
I'm a Ham also, along with hubby (Grouch at Right Truth). We are both Extra class hams and have been for years. Him since 1977 and me for about 11 years. KA4P (Grouch) and N4OYM (me) He started out with a little rig he put together from a kit.
He's right about young people not being interested in Ham radio. It's a shame. We were in a bad hurricane in Hawaii, no communication with the mainland USA except through Hams for about 48 hours.
I can also tell you that if we had a terrorist attack somewhere in the US and communications were out (cellphones, landlines, etc.) Ham radio would also be the only form of communications. And we would be in big trouble with so few hams still alive and active.
I can also tell you that there are groups of Muslims in places like Islambad across the US (New York, Virginia, NC, etc.) who have been found with Ham radio training materials. So THEY might be communicating that way, who knows. They might be better prepared that Americans.

I love this response to this issue - I was looking for ways to write the Hague to tell them just what you said above and I found your site. Love it - and love to see another American out there. Strength and courage to You!!

The sad thing is the Bush Administration directed Texas to abide by the World Courts ruling. Fortunately Texas told them to take a flying leap to the moon and SCOUTS supported Texas.

Layla: Thanks. Yes, there is a double standard - we all know it.
Debbie: It was a great topic. That's scary about the Muslim groups!
Hurricane: Glad you liked it. Too bad no one of any consequence listens to me!
Bobf: I know. There are a lot of things that have disappointed me about Bush and that is one of them.
Thanks all for your great comments!
