In the 2000 election, it came down to a few districts in Florida. The Democrats were trying to change the counts in several selected districts. At one point, they tried to even "count" the votes behind closed doors with no opposition or media present. When the Republican caught wind of this scam, they almost beat down the door to get the counting done with witnesses. The Democrats promptly accused the Republicans of violence. In the end, despite the Democrats trying to not count the military votes and their attempts at getting the partisan Florida Supreme Court to over turn the election (remember it was the Democrats who originally brought the suit to the courts, not the Republicans), they ultimately lost their attempt to change the rules ex post facto when it went to the US Supreme Court. All of the problems were in districts where the Democrats have almost complete control of the whole election process. Also, several newspapers (who supported Kerry) later did their own recounts and found that the count was right and that President Bush duly won the state.
In Ohio during the 2004 elections, allegations were again made of voting irregularities. One of the more prominent counties involved was Cuyahoga County around Cleveland. The problem again is that this county is another Democratic stranglestronghold.
In New York City during this latest Presidential primary, Harlem to be specific, it seems that votes for Obama were not even counted or under recorded. In some districts, he received absolutely zero votes. I guarantee you there wasn't a Republican within miles of that count.
Does anyone remember the days of Tammany Hall where the Democrats actually had a strangle hold on elections in NYC? Does anyone remember the stranglehold on Chicago by the Democrats and their buddies in the mob controlled unions? (And in some quarters, still do!)
I could go on for pages about the history of corruption in the Democratic Party. They are usually the party to quickly allege fraud in an close election that they lose.
Projection? I think so.

Oh, yes and the Republican party is so clean of any wrong doing!! They have had a clean 8 years without any hint of scandal!!! I could go into the history of Republican shame and corruption as well, but instead of pages and pages, it would be books and books!! Love ya VW

Well Kat, there has been some scandals. Congress critters mostly, but they didn't involve elections and both sides have had them. I cvan probably match you one for one when it comes to stuff like bribes and such.
I'm talking about vote fraud. If you know of any scandals involving elections on the scale of Chicago and New York, let me know. Who was it in Wisconsin that slashed get out the vote vans? Republicans? Who was ACORN registering phony voters for, Republicans? Who was it in East St. Louis that were convicted of vote fraud a couple years ago?
Go ahead and start writing even a paragraph.
Oh and I know personally that dead people vote here in Tacoma and they don't vote Republican. Tacoma is a one party town and it doesn't start with an R.

It makes you wonder if the Democrats are capable of winning an honest election.
It amazes me that when Republicans insist that the election laws be followed and that voters must prove who they are, Democrats cry Disenfrancisment. Why is it people who have ID to cash a check, open a bank account, use a credit care, or sign up for welfare, no longer have ID to vote?
