A scant few hours ago, we were told it was all but over. We were told by just about every pollster out there that Obama would comfortably win New Hampshire and that the Hillary juggernaut was running out of steam. To everyone’s surprise, she wins it in a squeaker. The pundits will be analyzing the results while the campaigns spin like turbine wheels at full military power.
Hillary is now is the “comeback Kidette” and you can bet you will hear a dozen variations of that before noon.
One has to wonder if the Obama crowd might even start hinting at irregularities in the voting process. Personally, I doubt there was and I doubt any credible voice will make the allegation although the Clinton machine isn’t above a little chicanery. One can imagine that if it is brought up, it will be in the fever swamps known as the Democratic Underground or even a Kos Diarist. Like I said, no one credible.
One of the things I’ve been saying is that you cannot count Hillary out – EVER!!!! She is in this to win and Obama better well have figured that out by now.
At this point, Edwards is an also ran. I’m batting he is all but gone by super Tuesday.
Jim Addison at Wizbang has a great take on the Breck Girl’s campaign.
In any event, New Hampshire Democrats opted for distasteful substance over empty style. Trailing badly, John Edwards vowed to fight on until the convention, noting that 48 states and over 99% of the voting population had not yet "been heard." Whatever gives the Breck Girl the idea that when we "hear" from those yet uncounted, they will be any more for him than they were four years ago, when he lost, is unspecified. Edwards drew lower support in both Iowa and New Hampshire than he did in 2004, and cannot win South Carolina as he did four years ago. He LOST four years ago, and is doing worse this time. Hel-looooo? Johnny boy? Anyone paying attention in there, or are you transfixed by the mirror again?
Edwards is so vane, he probably thinks this race is about him/
On to the next primary.

Can you imagine what it would have been like for those close to Hillary if she had lost? The foul language coming out of her mouth would have pealed the paint off the walls. I bet Bill would have come up with a real fast excuse to head overseas.
