The
Huffington comPost has an entry from one Joseph A. Palermo. Palermo is an assistant professor of history
at California State University Sacramento. He also appears to be a nutbag from
the Ward Churchill association of whacky professors that should be wearing a
tinfoil hat if he isn’t already. Palermo’s
premise is that Obama is the new Bobby Kennedy and that the the evil
Bush/Halliburton/Blackwater/DynCorp/Neocon/Christian/Zionist consortium will
have him waxed if it appears that he might get himself elected.
Under an Obama Administration Blackwater would no doubt be cut down to size along with Bush's other crony capitalist entities. The Blackwater Boys no doubt have close friends and ideological soul mates deep inside the federal security services.
In 1968, immediately following the killing of Robert Kennedy, President Lyndon Johnson signed an executive order providing Secret Service protection to all viable presidential candidates. His decision came as a result of the RFK assassination. But it was too late to prevent a tiny piece of lead from disfranchising millions of American voters.
Let's hope that the Blackwater elements can be thoroughly flushed out of the federal security services. Let's also hope that the Secret Service does a better job protecting Obama in the coming election year than Pakistan's ISI did in protecting Benazir Bhutto who didn't live to see election day.
Palermo’s paranoiac post tries to equate Obama with Kennedy and that the above named consortium will kill Obama for fear of losing their lucrative government contracts.
I don’t particularly care that this nutbag thinks this, but his paranoid palaver is read by others and they start buying into it, spreading it and eventually elaborating on it. And that can be a problem. It can lead to some people acting out in what they feel is a preemptive way.
I fully expect the left to take to the streets if a Republican wins the presidency. I intend to elaborate on this in the coming months, but suffice to say, paranoid musings such as Palermo’s post don’t help the situation.
If I was the paranoid type, I’d guess that the O-man has more to worry from the Clintonista Mafia then from his own security detail.
