I managed to catch a lousy cold so I haven't felt like writing much, but a couple of things have happened in the last couple of days that just need to be commented on.
The first idiot is out of Brattleboro, VT.
A group in Brattleboro is petitioning to put an item on a town meeting agenda in March that would make Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney subject to arrest and indictment if they visit the southeastern Vermont community.
"This petition is as radical as the Declaration of Independence, and it draws on that tradition in claiming a universal jurisdiction when governments fail to do what they're supposed to do," said Kurt Daims, 54, a retired machinist leading the drive.
So let me get this straight, because he thinks Bush went outside the law, they can make up their own? Hey idiot! It doesn't work that way. If they passed this and if I were President Bush, I think I'd just walk into town and see who would try and arrest me. First, you have to get past some rather heavily armed folks in sunglasses. If you managed to get him after that, the Feds would be all over your little berg. There is a reason the constitution leaves it up to Congress boys and girls. You cannot have the President of the United States subject to every hick jurisdiction in the country.
Our second idiot comes from Garland, TX. A mother had her six-year-old daughter write an essay for a contest to meet "Hanna Montana". I admit, I had to Google it to find out who Hanna is, and it looks like a cute story line. The first line of the essay read: "My daddy died this year in Iraq."
And when it was discovered that the little girl's daddy did not die in Iraq, Momma said this:
"We did the essay and that's what we did to win," Priscilla Ceballos, the mother, said in an interview with Dallas TV station KDFW. "We did whatever we could do to win."
Well fortunately, the contest sponsors took the prize away. This woman deserves a serious ass kicking. Where is this girl's father anyway?

The mother teaches the daughter that it's ok to do whatever you want to get ahead or win. Some day this same mother will wonder why her daughter is in jail or making her living by dancing round a pole and laying on her back later on.

Yeah Bob, I'm afraid you are correct.
FG, yeah, it is indeed sad and Glenn, I think a blanket party is a bit too easy.

Nice make up.
She was so stressed, her eyebrows fell out and she had to replace them with Grey Poupon Mustard.
VW SEZ: It's obvious you are a brainless fleck of dung. I've been to your website. Your shallow understanding of politics and culture is not surprising.
