Watch the video and watch how Wesley Clark think we out to deal with political discourse. Its's toward the end, but if you listen closely, he is advocating that Congress "rate" political speech.
Two things wrong with that idea, General:
- A partisan Congress, subject to the whims of whichever party is in the majority, should not be rating political speech.
- There is this little thing called the First Amendment that says Congress shall make no law...
Thanks for defecating all over the Constitution, Wes!
I'm not even sure Congress should be voting on resolutions condemning political speech regardless of whether it's Limbaugh or Moveon.
The left is trying, by any means necessary to limit free speech. They hate talk radio and now that they are back in the majority, they are doing what they can to try and squelch it.
SCARY!!!!

Hat Tip: Hot Air

Wesley is only longing for those days when he walked into a room, everybody present snapped to attention, and the only voice heard was his, unless he allowed someone to speak.

I was thinking the same when I was posting this.
The thing that struck me about that interview is that Ol' Wes just isn't all that bright. He just doesn't inspire a lot of confidence.
