Well it seems the moonbat brigades are in a tizzy again. The Army has the audacity to move cargo through a publicly owned port again. This time, it's Gray's Harbor west of here. The Army is shipping an Air Cav unit to Iraq. And the reason these nutters are protesting:
“Because ports are public entities and the war is illegal, using the ports to support troop movement … makes us legally liable for that illegal act,” said Drew Hendricks, with the Olympia Port Militarization Resistance.
Mr. Hendricks is obviously challenged in the IQ department. The war is not illegal and even if it was, ordinary citizens would not be held liable for what the Army does. It's nonsense and I suspect he knows it's nonsense, but he also knows that young minds full of mush probably won't bother to use any kind of critical thinking skills and realize just how absolutely ridiculous that idea is.
Maybe I could sell Idiot offsets. They would be just like carbon offsets. Carbon offsets don't really clean the environment, you just feel better polluting, These would work the same way. You would still be just as stupid, but you'd think you were smarter. Say you want to protest a port using Hendricks' brain dead reasoning. Send me 10 bucks, I'll invest some of it in some capitalist venture for you. You won't be any smarter, but you'll feel good about yourself and really, isn't that what it's all about. A hundred bucks would cover a whole protest season of 6 months!
I think I'm on to something here!

I thought I'd pass along this post I wrote this morning reviewing an academic political science article that makes the case for a preventive attack on Iran's nuclear weapons development facilities. It's very compelling! While the authors don't advocate a preventive attack on Iran, they lay out the logistic probabilities on the success of such an operation.
Thanks in advance and check it out:
