I don't much care for Speaker Pelosi's politics. That probably goes without saying. I certainly don't hate her. She might be a wonderful person despite her politics for all I know. That said, I would never think to go to her personal residence to show my disapproval of her politics. Apparently, Code Pink has no such ethos.
SAN FRANCISCO Peace activists continue to camp outside the San Francisco home of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
They've been there since yesterday, demanding that Pelosi take a tougher stance against the war in Iraq.
After crossing the Golden Gate Bridge yesterday, the group marched through the Presidio and arrived at Pelosi's Pacific Heights home around four o'clock in the afternoon.
That's just plain wrong. If you have a beef with someone, go to the nearest public place, plop your soap box down, hop up on it and vent your steam. Go to DC and camp out at the Congress, Camp out in front of one of her district offices, whatever, but leave the lady's home alone.
It's classless. It's just plain rude. I wonder what Code Pink Stink's members would say if a bunch of us right-wing Nazis (Tongue in cheek folks, don't get stupid!) camped out on Medea Benjamin's door step? They'd be yammering about privacy rights and Gestapo tactics. You know they would. I wouldn't condone such an action precisely for those reasons.
Camping out in front of Speaker Pelosi's residence is a breach of her right to privacy. Ms. Pelosi should tell them she'll talk to them when they grow up.

Smells like a publicity stunt to me. They must be falling off the media radar and need to do a desperate attention grabber like this to get themselves back on the tube.

The only advice one can give Pelosi is... They’re your people and you lied to them and used them to get into power. Now it’s up to you to figure out how to talk sense into these morons
