SCROLL for updates.
I'm sitting in the Sacramento Airport, waiting for my flight. It's 2:10 PM and I have about an hour before it boards. I'm trying to get a sandwich at a bar. There's is maybe 15 tables and 30 people. Two waitresses are running around trying to keep the beer and the chow flowing. This is the only place in Terminal B to sit down and eat so it's crowded and noisy, but the airport has free wi-fi and I have a laptop. So the obvious thing to do is to blog.
While I've had computer access in my hotel room, etc. Time has not been kind. I was working longer hours than anticipated. Aside from a few minutes to check my email, computer time at work was none-existent. My job site was about a half mile from the office.
Not much of a chance to sightsee either. On the other hand, Vacaville isn't really known as a tourist mecca. Eating was not noteworthy either. I tried Tahoe Joe's Steak House. Joe must not know the difference between shoe leather and steak. Mel's Original Diner was dull. The best meal i had was Abblebee's Bruschettia Burger. Because of my schedule, Denny's was the only place open a couple times. I guess the best I can say about Denny's is that I didn't get sick.
I hope to be back in full force this weekend. Mama Stephanie says she wants some of my undivided attention when I get home. Sounds good to me.

UPDATE I:
5:35 PM It's now two hours past our original flight time and we are sitting in the terminal. We got on the plane and then we were told that SeaTac was closed because of power problems. So now we all sit waiting and hoping we will be able to leave. We are on hold for an hour more. Who knows.

UPDATE II
16 Dec 9:00 AM
I finally made it home last night around 10:00 PM. We finally took off a little after 7 PM. It's only about an hour and a half flight from Sacramento to SeaTac. Power was out around the Airport. Almost got into a couple of fender benders because of traffic lights being out. In any case, it's good to be home.

EEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! A hilarious post!! Loved the description of the unpalatable eateries in Vacaville. Sorry to hear your stuck in a holding pattern waiting to get out. Hope you get home to the Mrs. soon, sounds like she needs some servicing!!

So VW, I take it you designed Mama's site? (Forgive me for being my usual thick-as-a-plank-self.) It's clear your are an artist at heart.

Yeah, I designed it. I'm not really an artist, computers can just make you seem that way. LOL!
Thanks for the complement though.
