Every American, whether they wish to acknowledge it or not, owes a debt to every man and woman who ever honorably served in the Armed Forces.
88 Years ago, the Armistice ending WWI was signed at 11 AM.
If you haven't already, take a moment - a pittance of time - to thank those who served, especially those who were wounded or lost their life.
God Bless America!
Thank You Veterans!

Went to the ceremony here this morning and cried all the way through it. Ugh, it just gets me every time. I couldn't even thank a vet right because I was so choked up. I just kissed his cheek and shook his hand and slipped away before he could see me start to cry. I'm such a wimp.

Nah, I don't believe it for a sec. I'm not ashamed to admit, I've gotten a bit teary eyed over similar myself and no one would ever describe me as a wimp. You got a heart of gold, Canucki!

Thanks to all who have served in uniform; and thanks to you, VW, for your own military service.

Oh - you men!! You have to be such tough guys! There is NOTHING wrong with getting a little teary once in a while. That doesn't make you wimpy! lol
Thank you for your service to our country! You deserve to be proud and moved by the ceremonies honoring our Veterans.
