The Democrats are promulgating another fraud. If the President dares utter one word about 9-11, he is accused a "politicizing" it.
Hogwash!
Despite your advanced BDS, he is the President. he, like any other politician has the right to speak about what happened that day. I know you think Gore, or Kerry, or Martin Sheen, or Bill Clinton should be the President, wishing it doesn't make it so.
In fact, regardless of who is sitting in the Oval Office, that person doesn't just have the right to speak to the nation about 9-11, it is his or her responsibility to tell us what the administration is doing to prevent it from happening again.
The Democrats have absolutely nothing to offer, especially in regards to National Security. I trust them with this nation's security about as much as I trust a child with a pedophile.
The only ones trying to politicize this is the Democrats. Accusations and lies are all they have.
VW

Had he not mentioned the Iraq war, they'd be whining about that. George Stephonopoulopoluopus said right after the speech that it wasn't political. The next morning, he changed his mind and said it was political. He obviously didn't get the memo- telling him to say how political the speech was-till morning.
The libbies are trying to recover from ABC's movie-The path to 9-11. I'll admit it showed them for the boobs they really are. No wonder they wanted it pulled. The truth hurts.

I have to say I agree with you here VW. He's the President for goodness sake, he's in the business of politics. How can he be accused of politicizing something by commenting on something political??? Bad tactics by the Dems.
...Oops, just a minute. Firetruck just pulled up at the apt building next door, lots of hunky firefighters to drool at!! Heh. No sign of a fire, perhaps it is something else as there are lots of senior citizens in the building. I don't see a jumper anywhere either. Ooooh, now the paramedic's have showed up, they're cute too. Now if the police just come, I'll be all set!!!
Ahem, anyway. I watched "The Path to 9-11" the last 2 nights and I found myself angry at the hesitation of the Clinton administration, specifically George Tenent, to go after Bin Laden when they had the chance. If that part of the movie is true, Clinton should be called in for a Congressional hearing to account in front of the entire nation and George Tenent should have to give back his Medal of whatever Bush awarded to him after he stepped down from the CIA.
