Two On The Sick List

From Aubreyj - one of the nicest guys on the net, and one of the most informative:

Wish me luck next week. I'm having surgery on my right hip Monday morning early and will be in the hospital for three to five days. I'll be down for around three months after that.

My surgery will be at one of our best hospitals here in Shreveport, LA. That hospital would be... Willis-Knighton North.

Type of surgery I'm having is called "Right Hip Core Decompression with Bone Graft."

I'll check back in with everyone next weekend... after I get back home. (That is if I can sit in front of a computer long enough to do so...)

And the second one is my sister Cindy back in Michigan.  Cindy is a year younger than me.

In the picture you see me and all of my siblings as we were about 43 years ago.  Kathy is three years younger and Tom is four years younger than me.

Cindy is in the hospital with a very bad case of ulcers.  If they can't get them under control, they will have to do surgery. 

Any prayers and thoughts on Aubrey's and Cindy's behalf for a speedy recovery is appreciated

What??? They monkey with one of the main hinges on the human body and they kick him out of the hospital after 3 to 5 days???? Are they going to give him any physio or rehab? Jeesh. He must be tougher than boot leather!!
