You’ve probably never heard of Betty Williams. Ms. Williams is from Northern Ireland, born in 1943. She looks like a TV mom. She looks like she would serve you up a slice of apple pie in her spotless little kitchen.
This woman was convicted of disorderly behavior at London's Heathrow Airport in 1980 and fined the equivalent of $55.
This woman wants to kill George W. Bush.
This woman won the Nobel Prize for Peace in 1976.
From The Australian News
"I have a very hard time with this word 'non-violence', because I don't believe that I am non-violent," said Ms Williams, 64.
"Right now, I would love to kill George Bush."
And who did this deranged piece of E.Coli say this in front of?
NOBEL peace laureate Betty Williams displayed a flash of her feisty Irish spirit yesterday, lashing out at US President George W.Bush during a speech to hundreds of schoolchildren.
That’s right, schoolchildren. She told schoolchildren. They call it "feisty" for wanting to kill the President.
A Nobel Laureate told a bunch of schoolchildren she would love to kill President Bush.
The woman is a psychopath! She sits on every peace and nonviolence council, club, organization and association. She’s won other prizes for peace.
“But as Williams herself has said many times, the Nobel Peace Prize is not awarded for what one has done but for what one will do.
If that is the case, Arafat should have given his back years ago! She should be giving hers back tomorrow.
This Vermin in the form of Donna Reed is not good enough to lick the President’s boots. Her words were outrageous and beyond redemption by saying them in front of children.

She's an idiot. It's one thing to make the comment in jest in front of adults, but in front of kids? No excuse. She should be ashamed of herself.

I wasn't real fond of President Clinton. I'm still not. I think he's incredibly vain, and I really don't think he's the policy wonk he's made out to be. (I think that was mostly Hilary's Department.) That doesn't mean he's not smart, I just don't think details bothered him much. As much as I dislike Mr. Clinton, I could not conceive of any think that would prompt me to say that "I would love to kill him."
The Nobel Peace prize is no longer awarded according to any real criteria. It's whatever is politically correct.

Good grief. What is wrong with people?
I'm with you VW. I didn't and still don't care for Mr. Clinton. However, I would never say anything so stupid-much less in front of the very children I'm supposed to adore so much. In fact, I wouldn't wish ANY harm on either one of the Clinton's.
I'll go a step further and say I don't think it's right to joke about killing a President either.

It's just another part of the mystery that asks the question I've yet to get an answer for,"Why are peace protesters so violent?"
At least she only said she wanted to kill him and left it at that. I've seen too often, violent descriptions of just how exactly these left wing extremists would like to carry out the death.
Sicko's. Yeah, I loathe Clintoon too, but I never wanted him dead. Just out of office.

First, I saw your comments over at Jenn's site and I had to stop by - they were priceless.
Next, I know all about B.Williams. I went to a football primary school in England back in the 70s. There was an Irish teacher who would incesanlty talk about the IRA, and Betty Williams. But it was funny that he said Williams never talked about the innocent people the IRA blew up. And wehn I was in England, the IRA were in full force. Every day there was a story of another IRA bomb in the UK or N.Ireland. And the teacher went on and on about about the struggle of the IRA.
And since this was a Catholic school I attended, his ideas were allowed.
Unbelievable. But not a stretch for the NP Commies. Look at the total list of NP winners and you get a good idea on which side of history it's on.

Just so you know... I'm ashamed that Betty Williams is from Ireland.

Hell, I'm ashamed she's human!
Jenn, it's not about being non-violent or being for peace., It's ideology. It's how they feel. If CuBa were to invade Puerto Rico, they would be celebrating. If we then leveled Cuba and made it the 51st state, they would be screaming about peace.
