Bump and Update: Welcome Seattle Times Readers and thank you Mr. Postman for the link!
Look around, check out some of what I have to say.

The President came to Seattle to hold a fundraiser for Dave Reichert (R-8th District) and the state GOP. You would expect that in Seattle, the President would draw protests. You would expect the coming of the most notorious terrorist the world has ever known to be a big draw for the Marxists around here. You have Evergreen State (Marxism U) down in Olympia and a host of other colleges and universities in the area. Seattle has the Fremont district where they have their statue of Lenin.
According to all reports, they got barely a hundred – maybe less.
As far as I can tell by the photos I’ve seen, these aren’t your garden variety Democrats. These are the whacked-out, moonbat types. As this picture suggests, these people are not part of the reality-based comminity!

If that’s all they can do in a place like Seattle, it suggests to me that the Democrats hopes just might be a little high.

I thought at the last election the people of Seattle would have been smarter than to re-elect Sims but they did. I'm hopeful that someday we get someone that can get that loon McDermott OUT!
I too was pleasantly surprised in the people that came out, if that's the best they have, we are in good shape. I heard a cop on KVI that worked the event and he described some real mootbats that were totally unorganized.

I'm willing to bet it is not just their 'hopes' that are high.

Good point prying1 and I thought the elcetion in California to fill the vacancy of the corrupt Cunningham gave up was a goof example of how the Democrats seem to be counting their chickens before they hatch. All of the polls showed that the Democrats had a good size lead and the Republican enede up winning with a comfortable margin. I hope these moonbats keep thinking that they it in the bag come November and then get the shock of their lives when we gain more seats in both the House and Senate.
