You’ve heard by now that the Port of Olympia is under siege by a group of IDIOT (And you’ll soon see they are indeed idiots) Moonbat anti-war protesters, most of whom are out of Evergreen State College, or as many of us call it, Marxism U.
Last night, they went at it again. A bunch of these twits tried to storm the gate. The Port is where a Stryker Brigade from Fort Lewis is shipping out its equipment for their impending deployment to Iraq.
They are told to get away from the gate and let the equipment through. When they don’t, the cops move in and push these geniuses back and sometimes have to resort to pepper spray to get their attention.
From KING5 NEWS:
"The majority were very peaceful, nonviolent, just exercising their constitutional rights," sheriff's Capt. Bradley Watkins said. "There was a group that was trying to damage port property.
"We asked them several times to stop. We warned them that if they did not stop, we would deploy pepper spray."
Of course, they probably get extra credit from their professors if they come in smelling like pepper spray.
Now here’s a quote from one of these braniacs. This is why they are idiots:
"People are dying by the hundreds of thousand,” said Sandy Mayes, anti-war activist. “I think you put that into perspective - tearing a fence down, that's hardly violent."
I think, you idiot little tool, that you haven’t a brain in your head. Hundreds of thousands? What drugs is she on? In any case, it’s there own killing their own, but no where near those numbers. Who told her that? Probably her math professor.
"It burned. I couldn't open my eyes for 20 minutes," Rachel Graham said while rubbing cold watermelon on her face. "My face is burning. I dunked my face in water and in Puget Sound."
Maybe there is a lesson there, Rachel. Don’t try to charge the fence and you won’t get sprayed! Duh! They told you they were going to do it. Stupid little twit.
"I believe the war is ethically wrong, I don't think we should be shipping weapons from something that is publicly owned," said Caitlin Esworthy, anti-war activist.
Here’s another whiz kid! The ethical part was OK. That’s her opinion, but then she had to add the last part and remove any doubt concerning her ability to reason or think past a slogan. The Army’s equipment is essentially “publicly owned”. Any port big enough to haul a brigade’s worth of equipment will be publicly owned. (They might be run by a private company or a shipping company may lease space, but they are usually owned by state or local governments) She’s obviously not rocket scientist material.
These are stupid people who haven’t a clue. Aside from their inane and sensless statements, all they can tell you is they are against war.
Geniuses they ain’t.

“I think you put that into perspective - tearing a fence down, that's hardly violent."
Sickest comment of all. Justifiable violence. Soon they will kill somebody and say its okay
I swear, these people are mentally ill.

These protestors sound like they should be in a Chevy Chase movie or something. What idiots!
Very good post VW. Give it to em!

The fun thing is to ask them what their solution is to whatever it is that they are protesting. Most they can get out is "just stop" whatever it is they are protesting. Ask them, "and then?" and they look at you absolutely clueless. There is no "and then" for them except that fuzzy perfect la la land that exists only in their minds.

YM, they have a goal, but they have absolutely no idea hopw to get there or even if itr will work. All attempts heretofore haven't.
Thirdee and JAR: It's beyond sureal. However, Evergreen isn't know for its Nobel Laureates, just its idiots like Rachel Corrie.

don't forget that Evergreen had a cop killer as their key note speaker years ago.

Okay, we've heard they're against the war but support the troops. By trying to stop the shipment of equipment and supplies for American troops, it's clear they're supporting the enemy troops.
