I’m back from the Bay Area. I was in South San Francisco most of the time. (South City to the locals. It’s where my wife’s sister lives.) We spent a day in the City doing some touristy things. We took the BART train in to downtown. That is the noisiest train I’ve ever been on! We went to Sonoma and the Muir Woods another day. We spent a day looking around San Mateo County. The San Mateo Museum in Redwood City is the old courthouse. I’ve been to a lot of little local museums and I have to say, this one is really well done. Well worth the three bucks per to enter. I also visited Emperor Norton’s grave site and got a couple of pictures I’ll be posting later.
A special thanks to Thirdee for helping out while I was gone. I hope she finds the time to contribute more! She did a great job!
All in all, we had a great time. We are back, safe and sound. I’ll be cranking back up here soon.
Just so you know: This Wednesday, I start a college class. It will be time consuming with lots of homework and a 10-15 page term paper to write – All in about 7 weeks to be followed by another clas right after that oone is done. So for the next four months, school will keep me pretty busy.
