ATLANTA -- A former Marine used a pocket knife to fend off a group of would-be robbers, killing one and wounding another, police said.

Those thugs didn't even know what hit them. Pardon me if I don't shed a tear for the girl who died. She jumped on the guy. I'm betting she wouldn't have had any remorse if he died during their attack. She would have laughed at him as he lay dying in the streets.
Thomas Autry, who authorities said will not be charged, had been walking home from his job waiting tables Monday night when four people got out of a car and chased him, Atlanta police detective Danny Stephens said.
And they shouldn't! The thugs got what was coming to them. Maybe some bottom-feeding piece of slime will think long and hard the next time they try to rob someone on the streets like that.
The cops ought to offer Mr. Autry a job and the Marines need to put him on a recruiting poster!
