From Yahoo! News: Catholics fail to block "Popetown" in Germany - Yahoo! News.
COLOGNE, Germany (Hollywood Reporter) - The Catholic Church has failed to block MTV Germany from airing the controversial BBC cartoon series "Popetown," which features a squat, obnoxious, gun-toting pontiff.
In an 11th-hour move Wednesday, the bishops from Pope Benedict XVI's home state of Bavaria filed an injunction to prevent the channel from broadcasting a single episode of the animated show, which features the good-hearted Father Nicholas and his trials with his papal boss.
WASHINGTON – A dozen young terrorists have departed Afghanistan, bound first for Iran and then Europe, where their mission will be to hunt down the Danish cartoonists responsible for drawing anti-Muhammad sketches, according to a report in Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin.
Now, whether that is happening or not, I don't know. To me, it's certainly not beyond the realm of possibility.
The point is, it's believeable that some Muslim extremists would go gunning for the Danish Cartoonists. No one thinks for a minute that, other than their souls, the folks at MTV have much to worry about from the Catholics.
A lot of Moonbat Leftists try to equate Christianity with Muslim extremism, but the formula doesn't work.
(Partial Disclosure: I'm not Roman Catholic, but I respect them and consider them Christian)
