I Don't Want Their Fleas
I’ve often said about people demonstrating with the likes of openly Communist/Socialist organizations that if you lie down with dogs, don’t be too upset if you wake up needing a flea collar. In other words, if you don’t want the Commie baggage, you might try to distance yourself from them. The same is true for those of us who are against illegal immigration.
As the public debate over immigration reform has taken center-stage in American politics and public life, white supremacists, neo-Nazis and other racists have declared "open season" on immigrants and attempted to co-opt and exploit the controversy by focusing their efforts -- and their anger -- on the minority group at the center of the controversy: Hispanics.
Let me be the first to declare that I want nothing to do with these bastards. Yes, I’m against illegal immigration, but I’m not anti-Hispanic. I’ve stated over and over, I don’t care where you come from, if you are here legally and intend to become an American, I welcome you. I want you here. If your intent is to come in illegally or to do us harm, I don’t care where you came from, you can go back or go to jail – your choice.
If I show up at an anti-illegal immigration rally and these pieces of dried vomit (the neo-Nazis) show up, I’ll either move far away as to not be part of them or leave.
I don’t want their fleas.

I admit that I am definitely not in agreement with the way you talk about the immigrants. You should take a look at this site for a different perspective: http://jeffslade.blogspot.com/2006/04/land-of-entitlement-immigrant-protest.html.
It's a interesting read. It talks about how we should look at our own current American values.
