There is a host of stories out there talking about how Howard Dean says that Border Security is their number one priority.
However, they miss the follow up statement by Howard.
From The Washington Times:
In his remarks this week, Mr. Dean said Democrats "vigorously" support a direct path to citizenship for illegal aliens while also saying that his party opposes guest-worker programs.
So, it is obvious that he didn't really mean that border security is their number one priority, now did he? What seems to be number one, is making illegal aliens voters.
Everyone is playing politics with this issue folks. Let's start by Securing the border, and then debate what to do with illegal alien invaders.
I do not believe there is majority support for a path to citizenship in this country. I am dead set against rewarding people that broke our laws. But for now, why not just get a clean enforcement bill out of the Senate?
