Sammenhold

You may have noticed the Sammenhold (Danish for solidarity) button and blogroll on the right.  This is a list maintained by Beth at the Blue Star Chronicles (One of my personal favorite blogs). 

I joined that list because I support the cause of free speech.  I might agree that insulting another's religion isn't right, but it's not a cause for violence, either.

We must not let anyone tell us what we can or cannot publish or talk about.  My display of the Sammenhold button and joining the blogroll might be entirely symbolic, but it is a  way to show the Danes, they have support.  The Danes have always been one of our closest allies and friends.  I've been there and they are also marvelous people to get to know.
