Need proof that Hollywood is out of touch?
Hollywood is shooting a movie based upon Mother Moonbat, Our Lady of Perpetual Victimhood, PBUH. Susan Saranwrapped-too-tight is starring as Her Dullness.
She's averaging just two days per month here. The next morning she will fly off again, the surreal star of what is -- depending largely on one's political perspective -- either an epic tragedy or a farce. After stops for protests in New Orleans and Washington, D.C., she will breakfast in Manhattan with actress Susan Sarandon, who is set to portray her in a biopic movie. (emphasis add)
Epic? Farcical or tragic (I’ll go with a mix of both), it is hardly epical. (No bias to see in this article. Move along now.)
Given Momma Moonbat’s book probably sold all of a few thousand copies and the anti-American, anti-capitalism marches (cloaked as anti-war marches) were pretty much a bust (No one showed up except the usual crowd of idiots and even their numbers were low), who does Hollywood think is going to show up to see a movie about Cindy Sheehan? Even you lefties have to have better taste in movies than this!!!!
Is it any wonder Hollywood can’t make money?
This one will probably hit the DVD shelves 10 minutes after the premier!

Thanks for putting Pete in his place. : )
I get so tired of the arguments sometimes. I've gone over the Willie Pete thing on numerous occasions.
As for Cindy Sheehan. If someone offered me $10,000 to go see her movie, I wouldn't, just on principal. I could truly get ill watching even a fake "Cindy". (Not that there is a difference).
Frankly, if a movie makes it to television, I may watch it, Hollywood doesn't get my money these days. I did go see Walk The Line, but that was the first movie I'd paid to see in over 4 years. And I made sure it was a discount matinee.
Love your blog, thanks for stopping by mine. And thank you for being a part of our proud armed services.

I was peticularly moved by the last line in the article...Carly says: "It's sad that everybody wants to talk about my mom, but nobody even asks about Casey anymore ..."
I think somewhere along the line we lost are focus that someone paid the ultimate price for Cindy's fame.
RIP Casey
Cindy and her daughter are wrong however, pulling out of Iraq will only throw the country into chaos and perhaps into the arms of another dictator, perhaps into the ever loving shariah law. Demanding that we pull out prematurley is a spit in the eye of everyone who's spilt blood in that sand. Lets bring our troops home, I agree, but let them do their job first. Let's finish what we started.
