Censure McKinney!
WSB-TV in Atlanta is reporting that an arrest warrant will be issued for Cynthia McKinney (D-Idiot) for assault.
Charges could range from assault on a police officer, which is a felony carrying a possible five year prison term, to simple assault, which is a misdeamenor. (sic)
While Nancy Peloser says it’s no big deal, Dennis Hastert’s office is asking how many cops do you have to slap before it's a big deal. Good question. If it was you or me, they would have hauled us off on the spot and thrown us in the hoosegow to cool our heels.
Can you imagine the firestorm at the tables been turned and it was a Republican slapping or hitting a cop? The Democrats would be screaming for his/her resignation!
As I’ve said, I work for a very large aerospace company, most of their facilities and factories are behind fences and the gates guarded by armed guards. Any guess what would happen if I tried to duck those guys and slapped one?
We don’t have company security guards where I work. I work on an Air Force Base. Every morning, I show my Base ID to get through the gate. Even the Wing commander (The top dawg on the base) must show his ID and you KNOW the guards know who he is.
If she is eventually convicted of a felony (I highly doubt that will happen), then she should have to resign. If she is convicted of the misdemeanor, she should keep her seat.
Whatever the outcome, she should be hauled up before the ethics committee and censured at a minimum. The woman is a disgrace!

She is turning it into a racism deal and acting she was the victim instead of the cop she hit. Pretty sad that she breaks the law and she turns its on the cop. It is really sad that Pelosi attacks the President for doing his job and now she acts like striking a police office is no big deal.

If they would just parade her around in handcuffs during her arrest... Now that would be just great in my book.
A photo is worth a million words.... especially by a raciest like she surly is. Great post VW...

I blame President Bush for not signing the Kyoto treaty.

Amazing how she can stay in Congress let alone get elected in the first place. She seems to have a serious racial chip on her shoulder, as well as being a grade A b!tch.

Dawn,
What does not signing the ridiculously unbalanced Kyoto treaty have with the topic?

Whereas, the Office of the Sergeant at Arms provides to Members of Congress lapel pins to be worn for recognition and safety;
Whereas, it is the practice of the United States Capitol Police to bypass normal security procedures for those members wearing such pins;
Whereas, the total number of those employed on Capitol Hill exceeds twenty thousand;
Whereas, there are 435 members of the House of Representatives;
Whereas, the combination of congressional staff members, Members of Congress, tourists, lobbyists, and businessmen entering and leaving the Capitol complex on a daily basis provides a unique security dilemma for the United States Capitol Police;
Whereas, the daily operations of a secure Capitol complex require strict compliance with security procedures by all, including Members of Congress, and;
Whereas, on March 29, 2006, Rep. Cynthia McKinney engaged in a physical attack against a Capitol Police officer, after being repeatedly being asked stop because she bypassed a security checkpoint without her Congressional pin.;
Resolved, that the United States House of Representatives does hereby censure Rep. Cynthia McKinney for her violent and unlawful actions against a member of law enforcement, and does condemn her inherent disregard for the security procedures adopted to protect our nation’s capitol before and after the events of September 11, 2001, as well as her refusal to apologize to the victim after the confrontation.
