Weekly Update

Aloha! I’m still in Hawaii until the 24th. The weather here is beautiful and tropical and all that you imagine Hawaii to be. Today, I decided to leave Kalakaua Kanyon and Waikiki and take a loop around the island – or as far around as you can go without back tracking. I saw whales spouting off the eastern shores and surfers hanging ten off the North Shore. I ate mahi-mahi and chips at the Breakers and saw the Dole pineapple plantation.

Tomorrow is the pro-bowl, so I’ll stay away from the Pearl Harbor Area around Aloha Stadium. Tomorrow will be a quiet day looking out my 15th floor balcony overlooking Kalakaua Kanyon and the hordes of tourists that walk up and down it shopping, or eating or whatever in the hell most of them are doing. I call it Kalakaua Kanyon, but it’s really Kalakaua Avenue and it’s lined with high rise hotels and shops. If you’ve been here, you know what I mean. It is the street that runs the length of Waikiki.

I glad to see Patriette is busy keeping you all entertained. I can only get to a computer a couple times a week.

I’ll be back home the 24th. Patriette advises me that I won’t be going near a computer for a couple of days then either!
