UPDATED - SCROLL DOWN
Surrendercrats Murtha and Moran had a town hall style meeting filmed by C-Span the other day in Moran’s district in Arlington, VA. The first citizen to address Mssrs. Murtha and Moran was a young man named Mark Seavey.
This is what the WaPo reported he said:
Said former Army sergeant Mark Seavey, who recently returned from Afghanistan: "I keep hearing you say morale is low, and I resent that. I don't know who you are talking to. Morale . . . is very high."
That’s it! But he said more, a lot more. The whole Town Hall meeting was recorded by C-Span and is available on their site. About 34 minutes into it and the first to the mike, this is a transcript of what Mr. Seavey actually said (Thank You Mudville Gazette):
"Yes sir my name is Mark Seavey and I just want to thank you for coming up here. Until about a month ago I was Sgt Mark Seavey infantry squad leader, I returned from Afghanistan. My question to you, (applause)
"Like yourself I dropped out of college two years ago to volunteer to go to Afghanistan, and I went and I came back. If I didn't have a herniated disk now I would volunteer to go to Iraq in a second with my troops, three of which have already volunteered to go to Iraq. I keep hearing you say how you talk to the troops and the troops are demoralized, and I really resent that characterization. (applause) The morale of the troops that I talk to is phenomenal, which is why my troops are volunteering to go back, despite the hardships they had to endure in Afghanistan.
"And Congressman Moran, 200 of your constituents just returned from Afghanistan. We never got a letter from you; we never got a visit from you. You didn't come to our homecoming. The only thing we got from any of our elected officials was one letter from the governor of this state thanking us for our service in Iraq, when we were in Afghanistan. That's reprehensible. I don't know who you two are talking to but the morale of the troops is very high."
And Moran the Moron’s response?
"That wasn't in the form of a question, it was in the form of a statement. But, uhh... let's go over here." In other words, he ignored Mr. Seavey.
It’s called cut and run. Moran and Murtha even practice that strategy facing their constituents. They didn’t respond to him, they dismissed him and went on to the next.
Murtha and Moran aren’t good enough to shine that former soldier’s boots.

UPDATE
This From Michell Malkin:
She has a video clip of a General Wagner, at the same town hall meeting, reading from an angry letter from a mother who lost her son that day in Iraq. She was angry at Representative Murtha. General Wagner also was angry and shared some of his experiences with Vietnam. He accused Murtha of selling out the troops just like the left sold out the troops in Vietnam.
Murtha and Moran are selling us out and emboldening our enemies. These slimebags are helping to get our guys killed. But that's OK, as Moran the Moron points out...he cares.

With all due respect to Senator Murtha's heroism as a Marine in Vietnam, I suggest that his recent pronouncements reveal he has lost the espirit de corps and forgotten the concept of semper fidelis that true Marines honor for a lifetime.
Would that a person would rise up within the hallowed halls of congress and become statesman-like instead of spewing the devisive and destructive partisan rhetoric, especially those congresspersons that denigrate -- directly or indirectly -- the very military who bravely lay their lives on-the-line and, who, by so doing, singularly make more of a contribution to our country than the collective contribution of the whole of Congress.
