2005 was an event filled year.
It seems that everyone is doing some sort of list and I don’t want to be left out. And since being “left” anything isn’t how I where I want to be, I’m going to make up my first annual “I’ll make up the categories as I go along” award.
Category: The Most Pathetic Individual to Ever Personify a Movement
The hands down winner here is of course Our Lady of the Perpetual Media Whore, Mother “Mother Moonbat” Sheehan.
Runner up: Howard Dean, for the bowel movement that is the DNC. (Note Dear Democrats, I said DNC, not all Democrats. DNC stands for Democratic National Committee)
Category: The Most Idiotic and Obnoxious Attempt to Sway a Presidential Election
Again, The Winner is a hands down choice. Dan Rather and Mary Mapes. I know, the election was last year, but this year, Rather was edged out of SeeBS and Mapes came out with her lame-ass attempt to salvage her self-destroyed career. No one really believes her.
There were no runners up.
Category: The Surrendercrat of the Year
This was a tough one, but in the end, a winner (or loser) emerged. Howard Dean for his “America Cant Win” Statement was finally decided to be the embodiment of the Surrender movement.
Coming in at a close 2nd was Representative John Murtha for his brilliant cut and run strategy.
#3 was John, (I ran from Vietnam as fast as I could) Kerry for his “Terrorizing women and children” statement.
Category: The Sky is Falling and I Can’t Get up Award.
Winner: To all the mono-celled brains who clamored that the Bush Administration hated Blacks in New Orleans enough to kill tens of thousands of them.
Runners up were the DUmmies at Democratic Underground who for weeks after the Tsunami that killed 213,000 people said that it was some nefarious machine used by Bush to cause the earthquake in an attempt to kill off all the Muslims. They would have won, but they didn’t (for more than obvious reasons) make the mainstream Press.
Category: The Biggest Non-scandal of the year:
The Valerie Plame Affair.
All I got for Fitzmas was this lump of coal.
Runner Up is the Tom DeLay indictment. One charge already dismissed and the rest will be soon enough.
Enough fun for now.
I wish all of you a joyous and happy New Year.
VW
P.S.
The “Violence Worker Blog Awards” will be out later.
(Mostly Entirely based on personal taste and bias)

This is too funny, have a great New Years and I look forward to reading your blog for the coming year.
