The vandalism started last year around election time. His mail box was blown up twice. It has a picture of the 101st Screaming Eagle on it. More than once, the US flag and the 101st Airborne flag in front of his house were taken down and torn up. They’ve used a permanent marker to write “murder” and draw a Swastika over his 101st Airborne flag. That especially bothers him because it was the 101st Airborne that led the charge against Hitler.
From KOMO-TV News:
“But the biggest insult to this house with a permanent Bush-Cheney placard attached to the second story and a collection of mostly Republican election signs in the side yard, is the spray paint someone left on his vinyl siding this past weekend.”
In two-foot tall letters on the side of his house facing Meridian someone painted "Bush Nazis."
Ken Potts is a veteran. He served in the 101st Airborne and did three tours in Viet Nam.
Welcome to the Seattle-Tacoma Area. Mr. Potts lives in Shoreline. Shoreline is a suburb on Seattle’s northern border.
No one can justify this kind of idiocy. I don’t care who you are or what you believe. You do not have the right to commit acts of political vandalism. This is not some third world banana republic.
I know, or hope I know, that most people, of whatever political stripe, would agree with me. I also think if anything qualifies as a hate crime, this does. If it's adults, give the cowards an extra 5 years for political hatred and acting upon it.
If it's stupid kids, make them clean it up, pay Mr, Potts for the damage and make them do about 3 years of community service at the VA hospital.

I have a dog that barks at strangers outside, and a 12 ga shotgun with a full ammo selection. Go ahead, make my day!
