As the confirmation hearings of Judge Roberts proceed, seeing Edward Kennedy sitting on that panel makes me sick.
Kennedy is not worthy to lick the soles of the shoes Judge Roberts wore into the restroom. How in the name of all that is sacred and profane does a besotted, philandering old reprobate sit on a panel deciding who will be the next Chief Justice of the United States? I know that no one is perfect and without stain, but there needs to be some limit, shouldn't there?
Does the mere fact that he is elected by his state, time after time by an electorate who consistently overlooks his moral turpitude, give him the right to sit in literal judgment of our judges? At what point do we not allow a person with a despicable moral record to judge others qualifications for a job the requires the highest moral character?
It unsettles me a bit that Biden, an admitted plagiarist, sits on this panel, but Biden is an absolute saint compared to his (ahem) esteemed colleague from Massachusetts.
Can we hold qualification hearings on those that sit on the Panel? Can depravity be a disqualifier? Can we expect that they be held to at least a little higher standard than what Kennedy represents?
Just wondering.

Challenge: Explain why it makes you sick. Is it because he's such a big liberal? So then you are ignorant. And you've decided big fat liberal...oh can't like him. You're post is very simplistic. Like, work of a fourth grader simplistic. Would you care to explain in more detail why Ted is so bad?

What part of "besotted, philandering old reprobate" did you not understand?
Do you need me be to define any of that?

I wouldn't come on to your blog and leave impolite comments. Don't do it on mine.
Got it, wanker?
Good.
